Lordsburg, NM – April 27, 2026 – Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) is proud to announce the launch of its new Mobile Dental Clinic, made possible through the New Mexico Rural Health Care Delivery Funds. This initiative marks an important step in expanding access to essential oral health services for individuals and families across rural Southwest New Mexico.

The Mobile Dental Clinic reflects HMS’s continued commitment to meeting patients where they are and removing barriers to care. Through strong collaboration with the State of New Mexico and a dedicated project team, HMS secured grant funding to bring high-quality dental services directly into underserved communities.

The grant supports the Mobile Dental Clinic being integrated into communities for a minimum of one day every other week, although we are striving to deploy the unit multiple times per week, providing consistent, reliable access to preventive and restorative dental care for patients who may otherwise face transportation or geographic challenges. Services will include exams, cleanings, fillings, and simple extractions, helping patients maintain their oral health close to home.
