HMS Scholarships Available

Eligible 2022 Hidalgo and Grant County Highschool Graduates

Silver City, NM (February 18, 2022) – All 2022 Hidalgo or Grant County highschool graduates who are enrolled to attend college during the Fall 2022 semester/quarter are invited to apply for a $1000 college scholarship by March 31, 2022. If selected as an awardee, each applicant will be notified by phone or email in early May. All scholarships will be formally presented at an HMS Scholarship Program recognition event in mid-May 2022, and a check will be disbursed to the student’s university/college.

The HMS Scholarship Program is open to eligible, highschool students in both Hidalgo and Grant Counties pursuing a career or degree in healthcare.

Eligibility requirements for the 2022 HMS Scholarship Program include:

• Evidence of 2022 Hidalgo or Grant County (NM) Highschool Graduation (Copy of Official Highschool Transcripts or Graduation Certificate)
• Three Letters of Reference
• Verification of Fall 2022 (semester/quarter) Enrollment in a College/university
• Personal Statement including Educational and Career Goals in healthcare and Objectives
