National Health Center Week (NHCW) is right around the corner, and we’re excited to celebrate with a week full of activities to honor both our staff and the communities we serve.

This week, we celebrate the passion and dedication of our clinicians, staff, board members, and volunteers who deliver quality, comprehensive care to our community every day. This year is especially meaningful as HMS celebrates 30 years of service to southwest New Mexico.

To honor our employees and patients, we invite you to Open Houses at each HMS clinic on Wednesday, August 6th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy light refreshments, free blood pressure checks, giveaways, and learn more about our services. Please note that the School-Based Clinics and the Animas clinic will not participate in the open house, as they are closed on Wednesdays.

HMS will also host a Children’s Coloring Contest. Coloring pages will be distributed at all clinic sites and will be linked here. Children are encouraged to return their completed artwork to the clinic, where it will be displayed throughout National Health Center Week. HMS will provide crayons at each clinic location.

To wrap up Health Center Week, join us for the 3^rd Annual Celebrate Hidalgo County event on Saturday, August 9th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Park in Lordsburg. All activities are free, including water slides, splash pads, food, music, and more!
