Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) hosted a musical performance by Angelica Padilla on December 20^th at the HMS Silver City Senior Center during a special Christmas lunch provided to seniors and members of the public. Around 40 people attended the event, including New Mexico State Senator-Elect Gabriel Ramos, who will be representing District 28 in the New Mexico State Senate.

“Senior citizens are a crucial part of our community and it is our obligation to provide them with all necessary benefits and essentials,” stated Senator-Elect Gabriel Ramos. “As I perceive it, seniors should always be a primary focus at every legislative gathering. A special acknowledgment and thank you to HMS and the area municipalities is extended to our senior centers for providing meals and activities.”

Seniors enjoyed dancing and singing along to Ms. Padilla’s music and having the opportunity to meet with Mr. Ramos. HMS thanks Ms. Padilla for her wonderful performance and everyone who attended and helped celebrate the holidays at the HMS Silver City Senior Center.
